Nominated for the Spirit Award for Producer of the Year 1998, Gill Holland’s producer credits include Morgan J. Freeman’s unprecedented triple Sundance award-winning HURRICANE STREETS, the FOX sit-com GREG THE BUNNY, DESERT BLUE with Kate Hudson, the double Spirit Award nominee SWEETLAND with Alan Cumming, Emmy nominated DEAR JESSE, SOUTHERN BELLES, AMERICAN CANNIBAL, BEAUTIFUL DARLING, AFI winner BOBBY G. CAN’T SWIM, and Tom Gilroy’s Sundance favorite SPRING FORWARD with Ned Beatty and Liev Schreiber and Tim Kirkman’s LOGGERHEADS with Bonnie Hunt. He produced three volumes of cineBLAST!, the short film video compilations, featuring Tom Gilroy’s TOUCH BASE with Lily Taylor. He has documentaries on water (global privation issues) and Candy Darling underway and a film starring Adrian Grenier in production.

He is a half-Norwegian, half North Carolinian lawyer and former adjunct professor at NYU Graduate Film School. He worked briefly at October Films (now Focus Features) and spent three years at the French Film Office representing the Cannes Film Festival in the US. He founded and sold his first production company cineBLAST! He sits on many film festival boards and was on the Sundance shorts jury (1999) and Academy Awards’ selection committee (Student Division 2002, 2003). He started sonaBLAST! Records, featuring Kelley McRae, The Old Ceremony and Irish star Mark Geary. He is a partner at The Group Entertainment, the KY/NYC management/production company.
