Art Director/Associate Producer: Rena Bussinger

Rena Bussinger’s most recent film credits include Props Master on the BRAND UPON THE BRAIN!, directed by Guy Maddin (THE SADDEST MUSIC IN THE WORLD) and Art Director on the short NARROW MARGIN by Columbia graduate film student Apryl Richards. She has worked as a designer and writer for web and print media, and is the Web Manager for the PBS documentary series ADVENTURE DIVAS, on which she was also a Production Coordinator.

Rena has worked on numerous other shorts and documentaries, including three time-lapse animated films by director David Russo (POPULI, PAN WITH US). A graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in English, Rena has continued studies in film, photography and design post-graduation.

She is an avid photographer and recently held a show of her photography at the Seattle gallery Nancy. Her first filmmaking experience was as Unit Production Manager on the short LIGHTHOUSE, directed by her brother Brandon Bussinger as his thesis film for NYU.
